The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 254% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020, and then reduced sharply in the following year.

Thailand (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Iran (X tons) were the main suppliers of gypsum, anhydrite and limestone imports to China, together comprising 78% of total imports.
