Among the main countries of destination, Indonesia, with a CAGR of +84.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the amount of isoprene rubber (IR) in primary forms imported into China fell to X tons, declining by -12.3% on 2020. Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 44%. Over the period under review, imports of reached the peak figure at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) were the main suppliers of imports of isoprene rubber (IR) in primary forms to China, with a combined 94% share of total imports. In general, the import price, however, saw a pronounced reduction. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
