The second position in the ranking was held by Vietnam ($X), with a 9.5% share of total exports. It was followed by Djibouti, with a 9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to the United Arab Emirates totaled +28.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (+161.1% per year) and Djibouti (+142.0% per year).

Over the period under review, imports saw a precipitous setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-alloy aluminium bar imports declined markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports faced a precipitous decline.
