The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a 17% share of total exports. It was followed by the United States, with a 4% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Vietnam amounted to +2.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Thailand (-6.1% per year) and the United States (-1.9% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average export price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -12.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 20% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

After five years of growth, overseas purchases of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified decreased by -2.3% to X tons in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +58.7% against 2016 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 24%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then reduced modestly in the following year.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports fell to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded resilient growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 62% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then fell in the following year.
Imports by Country
Thailand (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons) were the main suppliers of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports to China.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Thailand (with a CAGR of +7.9%).
In value terms, Thailand ($X) constituted the largest supplier of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified to China, comprising 83% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with a 17% share of total imports.
