India (X tons), the United States (X tons) and Pakistan (X tons) were the main destinations of phosphorus, arsenic and selenium exports from China, with a combined 47% share of total exports. The Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Chile, Indonesia, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Brazil and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 34%.

These countries were followed by India, Chile, South Korea, Italy, Canada, Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Spain, which together accounted for a further 23%.

The average phosphorus, arsenic and selenium export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, remaining constant against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a slight curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 87% against the previous year. Imports into China
In 2021, the amount of phosphorus, arsenic and selenium imported into China skyrocketed to X tons, increasing by 25% against 2020. In general, imports continue to indicate a mild expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 639%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, phosphorus, arsenic and selenium imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 172% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Vietnam (X tons), Canada (X tons) and Japan (X tons) were the main suppliers of phosphorus, arsenic and selenium imports to China, together accounting for 68% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Vietnam (with a CAGR of +65.5%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Japan ($X) constituted the largest supplier of phosphorus, arsenic and selenium to China, comprising 40% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Canada ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with an 11% share.
