In 2022, plastic or non-precious metal watch imports into China expanded rapidly to X units, picking up by 11% against 2021. In general, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +20.4% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 32%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
