As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, other chemical products imports shrank modestly to $X in 2016. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 5.9% against the previous year.
