These countries were followed by Japan, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia, Mexico, the United States, Turkey and Belgium, which together accounted for a further 44%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Egypt (with a CAGR of +31.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 57% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, titanium dioxide imports rose rapidly to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 41%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

France (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of titanium dioxide imports to China, together comprising 87% of total imports. Canada, the Czech Republic and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 10%.
