The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 50% against the previous year. Exports by Country
Belarus was the major exporting country with an export of around X units, which resulted at 57% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Russia (X units), committing a 38% share of total exports. The following exporters - Kazakhstan (X units) and Kyrgyzstan (X units) - each reached a 4% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Kyrgyzstan (with a CAGR of +87.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest amplifier supplying countries in the CIS were Russia ($X), Belarus ($X) and Kazakhstan ($X), together accounting for 94% of total exports. Kyrgyzstan lagged somewhat behind, accounting for a further 1.2%.
Kyrgyzstan, with a CAGR of +94.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the CIS stood at $X per unit in 2022, dropping by -6.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a noticeable descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 18% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kyrgyzstan (+3.6%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2022, imports of amplifiers in the CIS fell rapidly to X units, reducing by -21.9% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a perceptible decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 47% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2021, and then declined remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, amplifier imports fell to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a mild reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 49% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Russia (X units) was the main importer of amplifiers, achieving 73% of total imports. Kazakhstan (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Belarus (X units) and Azerbaijan (X units). All these countries together took approx. 24% share of total imports.
Imports into Russia decreased at an average annual rate of -4.6% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Azerbaijan (+21.7%), Kazakhstan (+15.2%) and Belarus (+5.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Azerbaijan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +21.7% from 2012-2022. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Belarus increased by +10, +4.6 and +3.3 percentage points, respectively.
In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported amplifiers in the CIS, comprising 83% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kazakhstan ($X), with a 5.6% share of total imports. It was followed by Belarus, with a 4.6% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Russia amounted to -2.2%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Kazakhstan (-2.0% per year) and Belarus (+4.5% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The import price in the CIS stood at $X per unit in 2022, increasing by 12% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 23% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Azerbaijan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+2.5%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
