Russia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of cationic surface-active agents (excluding soap). At the same time, Belarus (+9.5%) and Kazakhstan (+1.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +9.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Uzbekistan (-1.6%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Belarus and Uzbekistan increased by +4.4 and +2.2 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
