The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 132%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, chick peas exports contracted to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by 60%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

Russia prevails in exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was near 93% of total exports in 2022. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) and Kazakhstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In value terms, Kyrgyzstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported chick peas in the CIS, comprising 50% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 20% share of total imports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 9.9% share.
