The level of export peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Belarus represented the major exporter of cinematographic cameras for film in the CIS, with the volume of exports resulting at X units, which was approx. 83% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Russia (X units), mixing up an 11% share of total exports. Uzbekistan (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Belarus was also the fastest-growing in terms of the cinematographic cameras for film exports, with a CAGR of +79.5% from 2012 to 2022. In 2022, the export price in the CIS amounted to $X per unit, jumping by 178% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a abrupt contraction. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Uzbekistan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (-16.9%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2022, purchases abroad of cinematographic cameras for film increased by 109% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after two years of decline. Overall, imports showed temperate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 803% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, cinematographic camera imports shrank sharply to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 949%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Armenia (X units) and Kazakhstan (X units) represented the major importers of cinematographic cameras for film in 2022, accounting for approx. 37% and 34% of total imports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Moldova (X units), achieving a 21% share of total imports. The following importers - Belarus (X units) and Azerbaijan (X units) - together made up 7.5% of total imports.
