Belarus (X tons) took a 30% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Kazakhstan (19%). Armenia (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Armenia (with a CAGR of +106.4%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 163% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

The following importers - Uzbekistan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) - each recorded a 3.5% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to shaft coupling imports into Russia stood at +1.9%. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+23.1%), Kyrgyzstan (+19.0%), Kazakhstan (+4.6%) and Belarus (+3.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +23.1% from 2012-2022. Kazakhstan (+2.2 p.p.) and Uzbekistan (+1.8 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Russia saw its share reduced by -6.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported clutches and shaft couplings in the CIS, comprising 73% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Kazakhstan ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Belarus, with a 6.8% share.
