Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +40.0% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Belarus (-15.6%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Uzbekistan (+4.6 p.p.) and Russia (+3.1 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Belarus (-8.6 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported cylinders for calendering in the CIS, comprising 94% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Belarus ($X), with a 2.6% share of total imports.
