As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

At the same time, Uzbekistan (+23.9%), Tajikistan (+14.2%), Kazakhstan (+10.5%) and Azerbaijan (+7.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +23.9% from 2012-2021. Belarus experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of Kazakhstan (+5.5 p.p.), Uzbekistan (+2.3 p.p.) and Tajikistan (+2.2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Russia (-10.3 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported dental cements and bone reconstruction cements in the CIS, comprising 78% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Kazakhstan ($X), with an 8% share of total imports. It was followed by Belarus, with a 7.8% share.

In Russia, medical reconstruction cements imports increased at an average annual rate of +7.0% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Kazakhstan (+12.6% per year) and Belarus (+1.0% per year).
