Overall, exports posted a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 27%. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, exports of flexible tubes, pipes and hoses of plastics, without fittings expanded markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed buoyant growth. Imports into Russia increased at an average annual rate of +8.7% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+61.4%), Armenia (+23.8%), Moldova (+11.4%) and Kazakhstan (+9.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +61.4% from 2012-2022. Belarus experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Uzbekistan and Armenia increased by +13 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
