In 2022, Belarus (X pairs) and Uzbekistan (X pairs) were the major exporters of footwear in the CIS, together committing X% of total exports. Russia (X pairs) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Kyrgyzstan (X%).

From 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per pair), while Uzbekistan ($X per pair) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, footwear imports expanded sharply to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated a slight increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. At the same time, Azerbaijan (X%), Belarus (X%), Armenia (X%) and Kazakhstan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Azerbaijan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Kyrgyzstan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
