Russia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of formic acid, its salts and esters. At the same time, Kazakhstan (+11.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kazakhstan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +11.7% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Belarus (-2.8%) and Uzbekistan (-11.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
