The CIS fresh pork cut market skyrocketed to $X in 2022, increasing by 16% against the previous year. Overall, consumption showed a perceptible shrinkage. After two years of growth, supplies from abroad of fresh or chilled hams, shoulders and cuts of pig meat decreased by -39.8% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 141%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, fresh pork cut imports contracted notably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a strong increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 207%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then shrank notably in the following year.
