The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when exports increased by 51%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 103% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 85%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Russia represented the largest importer of furnace burners for liquid fuel in the CIS, with the volume of imports recording X tons, which was approx. 63% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons) and Belarus (X tons), together constituting a 30% share of total imports. Azerbaijan (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to liquid fuel furnace burner imports into Russia stood at -7.4%. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+91.1%) and Belarus (+5.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +91.1% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Azerbaijan (-1.0%) and Kazakhstan (-2.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan increased by +5.9, +4.5 and +1.6 percentage points, respectively. In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported furnace burners for liquid fuel in the CIS, comprising 71% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kazakhstan ($X), with a 21% share of total imports. It was followed by Belarus, with a 3.6% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Russia totaled -4.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Kazakhstan (-0.6% per year) and Belarus (-6.7% per year).
