Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Kazakhstan (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons) dominates imports structure, together constituting 87% of total imports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 5.6% share, followed by Armenia (4.7%).

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +35.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest fuse and detonator importing markets in the CIS were Uzbekistan ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Kyrgyzstan ($X), with a combined 94% share of total imports.

Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +32.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
