All these countries together took near 13% share of total exports. The following exporters - Moldova (X tons) and Belarus (X tons) - together made up 7.6% of total exports.

Exports from Russia increased at an average annual rate of +9.7% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+39.0%), Kazakhstan (+10.3%) and Belarus (+2.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +39.0% from 2012-2022. Moldova experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Uzbekistan (+6.1 p.p.) and Russia (+2.4 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Belarus and Moldova saw its share reduced by -2.7% and -6.4% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) remains the largest gingerbread, sweet biscuit and waffle supplier in the CIS, comprising 76% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Kazakhstan ($X), with a 9.9% share of total exports. It was followed by Moldova, with a 4.6% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Russia stood at +5.3%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Kazakhstan (+12.8% per year) and Moldova (+3.4% per year).
