Belarus was the major importer of machinery for the extraction or preparation of animal or fixed vegetable fats or oils in the CIS, with the volume of imports resulting at X units, which was near 43% of total imports in 2022. Uzbekistan (X units) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Russia (X units) and Kazakhstan (X units). All these countries together held near 51% share of total imports. Azerbaijan (X units) took a minor share of total imports.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the import price increased by 46% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Belarus ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
