The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X), Uzbekistan ($X) and Kazakhstan ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 89% share of total imports.

In terms of the main importing countries, Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +17.9%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the import price in the CIS amounted to $X per unit, declining by -38.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the import price increased by 92%. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($X per unit), while Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
