Belarus (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Armenia (X tons). All these countries together took near 25% share of total exports. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the export price increased by 18%. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per ton), while Uzbekistan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uzbekistan (+26.2%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Kazakhstan (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Uzbekistan (X tons). All these countries together took near 28% share of total imports. Azerbaijan (X tons), Tajikistan (X tons) and Belarus (X tons) held a relatively small share of total imports.
Russia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of medicaments containing vitamins and provitamins. At the same time, Azerbaijan (+57.3%), Uzbekistan (+9.9%), Kazakhstan (+3.7%), Tajikistan (+1.4%) and Belarus (+1.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Azerbaijan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +57.3% from 2012-2021. While the share of Uzbekistan (+13 p.p.) and Azerbaijan (+4.4 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Russia (-15.6 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported medicaments containing vitamins and provitamins in the CIS, comprising 57% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 17% share of total imports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 13% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Russia stood at +2.6%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Uzbekistan (+20.7% per year) and Kazakhstan (+3.8% per year).

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per ton), while Tajikistan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
