The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +54.5% against 2016 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 12% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, odoriferous substance mixture imports totaled $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Uzbekistan (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Kazakhstan (X tons). All these countries together took near 20% share of total imports. Belarus (X tons), Azerbaijan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
