In value terms, Russia ($X), Belarus ($X) and Azerbaijan ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 97% share of total exports.

Azerbaijan, with a CAGR of +104.1%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in the CIS amounted to $X per ton, jumping by 19% against the previous year. Export price indicated a noticeable increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the export price increased by 45%.
