In value terms, nitrogenous fertilizer imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Kazakhstan (X tons) represented the key importer of nitrogenous fertilizers (mineral or chemical), constituting X% of total imports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Belarus (X%), Moldova (X%), Tajikistan (X%) and Armenia (X%).
