Russia was the main exporter of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses in the CIS, with the volume of exports accounting for X tons, which was near 62% of total exports in 2022. Total imports indicated a noticeable increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +50.1% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

Total imports indicated a noticeable increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the last decade. In 2022, Russia (X tons) was the main importer of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses, achieving 68% of total imports. Kazakhstan (X tons) held a 12% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Belarus (7.4%) and Azerbaijan (5.8%). Armenia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
