The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Belarus (X units) and Russia (X units) dominates exports structure, together creating 96% of total exports. The following exporters - Moldova (X units) and Kazakhstan (X units) - each amounted to a 3.1% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Moldova (with a CAGR of +43.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Russia ($X) remains the largest oil dispensing pump supplier in the CIS, comprising 91% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Belarus ($X), with a 4.4% share of total exports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 1.9% share.

In Russia, oil dispensing pump exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Belarus (-18.6% per year) and Kazakhstan (-23.6% per year).

The export price in the CIS stood at $X per unit in 2021, declining by -6.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the export price increased by 180%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Belarus ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Moldova (-0.4%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, overseas purchases of petrol and oil dispensing pumps increased by 25% to X units, rising for the sixth year in a row after three years of decline. In general, imports continue to indicate a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 67%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, oil dispensing pump imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 60%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Russia dominates imports structure, reaching X units, which was near 79% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X units), comprising a 9% share of total imports. The following importers - Kazakhstan (X units) and Azerbaijan (X units) - together made up 7.6% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to oil dispensing pump imports into Russia stood at +2.3%. At the same time, Belarus (+13.4%) and Azerbaijan (+8.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +13.4% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Kazakhstan (-5.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
