The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 273%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia prevails in imports structure, resulting at X tons, which was approx. 89% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Kyrgyzstan (X tons), achieving a 9.9% share of total imports.

Russia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the raw hides and skins of cattle imports, with a CAGR of +20.5% from 2012 to 2021. Kyrgyzstan (-30.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
