Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, Belarus ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Moldova ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 94% of total exports.

Moldova, with a CAGR of +67.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

Export Prices by Country

In 2022, the export price in the CIS amounted to $X per unit, declining by -19.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 40%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Tajikistan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

At the same time, Uzbekistan (+15.6%), Moldova (+11.5%), Kyrgyzstan (+10.8%) and Belarus (+1.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +15.6% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Azerbaijan (-4.3%) and Kazakhstan (-7.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova increased by +7.5, +2.2 and +1.5 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported ride-on compaction equipment in the CIS, comprising 73% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 7.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 7.1% share.
