Russia represented the key exporter of roasted coffee in the CIS, with the volume of exports recording X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. Armenia (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Belarus (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to roasted coffee exports from Russia stood at X%. At the same time, Belarus (X%) and Armenia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then reduced modestly in the following year.

It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), mixing up a X% share of total imports. The following importers - Kazakhstan (X tons) and Moldova (X tons) - each finished at a X% share of total imports.

Imports into Russia increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Moldova (X%), Kazakhstan (X%) and Belarus (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Moldova emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. While the share of Russia (X p.p.) and Belarus (X p.p.) decreased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
