Russia represented the main importing country with an import of about X units, which accounted for 54% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X units), Kazakhstan (X units) and Azerbaijan (X units), together achieving a 40% share of total imports. Armenia (X units) held a relatively small share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to safety headgear imports into Russia stood at +8.2%. At the same time, Armenia (+27.5%), Azerbaijan (+22.8%), Belarus (+17.9%) and Kazakhstan (+4.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Armenia emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of +27.5% from 2012-2021. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Belarus, Azerbaijan and Armenia increased by +11, +2.9 and +2.7 percentage points, respectively.

In Russia, safety headgear imports expanded at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Kazakhstan (+6.8% per year) and Belarus (+11.8% per year).

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the import price increased by 25% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($X per unit), while Armenia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
