In value terms, milled rice imports stood at $X in 2018. The total imports indicated a tangible increase from 2007 to 2018: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2018 figures, milled rice imports increased by +X% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 with an increase of X% year-to-year. In that year, milled rice imports attained their peak of $X. Russia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern of semi-milled or wholly milled (bleached) rice imports. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+X%), Armenia (+X%), Tajikistan (+X%) and Azerbaijan (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in CIS, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2018. Belarus experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Kazakhstan (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
