Russia (X units) and Moldova (X units) prevails in exports structure, together making up 88% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X units), comprising a 7.9% share of total exports. Azerbaijan (X units) held a minor share of total exports.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 239%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, knitted ski-suit imports dropped rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed noticeable growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 237% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

Azerbaijan (X units) and Kazakhstan (X units) represented the key importers of ski-suits of knitted or crocheted textiles in 2022, reaching approx. 49% and 35% of total imports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Russia (X units), mixing up a 12% share of total imports. The following importers - Tajikistan (X units) and Belarus (X units) - each accounted for a 3.8% share of total imports.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 117% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Azerbaijan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
