In 2022, imports of rare gases (excluding argon) into Colombia fell to X cubic meters, reducing by -12.8% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a pronounced setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 53%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X cubic meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, rare gases imports reduced slightly to $X in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 28%.
