Guatemala (X kg), Venezuela (X kg) and Panama (X kg) were the main destinations of refined olive oil exports from Colombia, together accounting for 97% of total exports. These countries were followed by Ecuador, which accounted for a further 1.5%.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ecuador ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Venezuela ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Panama (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, approx. X tons of refined olive oil were imported into Colombia; shrinking by -43.6% against the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, saw buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 634% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then declined notably in the following year.
In value terms, refined olive oil imports fell rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 520%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then plummeted in the following year.

In 2022, Spain (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of refined olive oil to Colombia, with a 25% share of total imports. It was followed by Italy (X tons), with a 0.7% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Spain stood at -1.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (-21.3% per year) and Turkey (-7.6% per year).
In value terms, Spain ($X) constituted the largest supplier of refined olive oil to Colombia, comprising 28% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 0.7% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Spain stood at -1.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (-21.2% per year) and Turkey (-7.8% per year).
