Honduras, the United States, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, the UK, Argentina, Italy and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 36%.
The UK, with a CAGR of +28.9%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Costa Rica
In 2022, supplies from abroad of calendars and trade advertising material increased by 7.2% to X tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 56%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 35%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
