From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to the United States totaled +3.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Spain (+7.7% per year) and Italy (+2.8% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average pineapple export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, declining by -5.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 12%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton, and then fell in the following year.

Honduras (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 1.9% share.

Overall, import price indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the last decade.
