Mali, with a CAGR of -2.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average dry vegetable export price amounted to $X per ton, waning by -7.4% against the previous year. Overall, the export price faced a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 86% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Burkina Faso ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (-0.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Cote d'Ivoire
Dry vegetable imports into Cote d'Ivoire skyrocketed to X tons in 2022, with an increase of 26% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 195% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, dry vegetable imports soared to $X in 2022. In general, imports enjoyed a prominent increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 276%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
In 2022, India (X tons) constituted the largest dry vegetable supplier to Cote d'Ivoire, accounting for a 69% share of total imports. Moreover, dry vegetable imports from India exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, France (X tons), sixfold. Serbia (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 6.9% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from India stood at +31.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: France (-15.8% per year) and Serbia (+49.9% per year).
In value terms, India ($X) constituted the largest supplier of dry vegetables to Cote d'Ivoire, comprising 60% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Serbia ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by France, with a 9.7% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from India amounted to +37.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Serbia (+75.6% per year) and France (-13.8% per year).
