Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, plastic supports imports contracted remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a deep setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 108%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2022, Ghana (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of plastic supports to Cote d'Ivoire, with a 58% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic supports imports from Ghana exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X tons), twofold.
