In value terms, ABS copolymers exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, exports recorded a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when exports increased by 586%. The exports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The Netherlands (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) were the main destinations of ABS copolymers exports from Croatia, together comprising 53% of total exports.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 41%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, ABS copolymers imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.1% over the last nine-year period.
