France (X units), Serbia (X units) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (X units) were the main destinations of exports of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam from Croatia, with a combined 51% share of total exports. Imports into Croatia
For the third year in a row, Croatia recorded growth in supplies from abroad of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam, which increased by 35% to X units in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports of reached the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imports of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports posted measured growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 58%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell in the following year.
Imports by Country
Turkey (X units), Slovakia (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of imports of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam to Croatia, with a combined 74% share of total imports. Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 23%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Iran (with a CAGR of +598.8%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Slovakia ($X) constituted the largest supplier of central heating boilers, for producing hot water or low pressure steam to Croatia, comprising 52% of total imports. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per unit), while the price for Iran ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+19.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
