Overall, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 104% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, cocoa powder exports fell significantly to $X in 2022. In general, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 98%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons), North Macedonia (X tons) and Slovenia (X tons) were the main destinations of cocoa powder exports from Croatia, together accounting for 87% of total exports.
