The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Slovenia (X tons) was the main destination for cyclic hydrocarbons exports from Croatia, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, cyclic hydrocarbons exports to Slovenia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Serbia (X tons), twofold. Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

In value terms, Slovenia ($X) remains the key foreign market for cyclic hydrocarbons exports from Croatia, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Bosnia and Herzegovina ($X), with an X% share of total exports. It was followed by Hungary, with a X% share.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of cyclic hydrocarbons, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
