Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 508% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Albania ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, overseas purchases of instruments and apparatus for measuring or checking pressure of liquids or gasses were finally on the rise to reach X units after two years of decline. Overall, imports saw a perceptible increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 294% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.
