Slovenia (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Serbia (X tons) were the main destinations of lead exports from Croatia, together comprising 87% of total exports.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Serbia ($X per ton) and the Czech Republic ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($X per ton) and Hungary ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovenia (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Croatia
In 2022, supplies from abroad of lead was finally on the rise to reach X tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, imports, however, showed a sharp descent. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, lead imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, faced a precipitous curtailment. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Slovenia (X tons) constituted the largest lead supplier to Croatia, accounting for a 26% share of total imports. Moreover, lead imports from Slovenia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Austria (X tons), twofold.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from Slovenia was relatively modest.
In value terms, Slovenia ($X) and Austria ($X) appeared to be the largest lead suppliers to Croatia.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
