For the third year in a row, the Croatian marble and travertine market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -1% to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, consumption, however, recorded a deep reduction. Marble and travertine consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, consumption failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.
