The Croatian metal non-electric bell market was finally on the rise to reach $X in 2021, after two years of decline. In general, consumption, however, recorded a deep setback. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, metal non-electric bell exports fell notably to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 879%. The exports peaked at $X in 2020, and then dropped sharply in the following year.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons) was the main destination for metal non-electric bell exports from Croatia, with a 86% share of total exports. Moreover, metal non-electric bell exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Montenegro (X kg), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Slovenia (X kg), with a 5.3% share.

In general, imports saw a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 57% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, metal non-electric bell imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a abrupt curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 39%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Italy (X tons), Austria (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of metal non-electric bell imports to Croatia, with a combined 58% share of total imports. China, the Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Serbia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 37%.
